Dr. Mark Mullins Bio, Briefing, and Photos

Our speaker for the November luncheon was Dr. Mark Mullins, formerly the deputy superintendent and chief operating officer of Brevard Public Schools since 2016, and now our new BPS Superintendent.

Dr. Mullins began his career with Brevard Public Schools in 1994 as a mathematics teacher. He went on to be assistant principal at Palm Bay Magnet High and Southwest Middle, principal at Clearlake Middle and area superintendent for the south region of the district. He earned a bachelor’s degree from Florida State University and master’s and doctorate degrees in educational leadership from the University of Central Florida.

Dr. Mullins shared his views of what’s happening now and what’s on tap for the future of our public schools in Brevard. He provided a broad and positive view with impressive statistics and an obvious enthusiasm for all things related to students and the BPS. We look forward to seeing many new and exciting initiatives under his leadership. Thank you Dr. Mullins!
