Bob Beil’s Resume’

Bob Beil – NASA Engineering & Safety Center

Mr. Beil has over 25 years of experience at NASA and currently serves as a Systems Engineer for the NASA Engineering & Safety Center (NESC) Integration Office, where he has worked since March of 2005.  In this role, his experience includes serving as the requirements manager for the Max Launch Abort System Flight Test Vehicle 1, as well as leading the systems engineering team for the design phase of Flight Test Vehicle 2.  He currently leads a data mining team and is active in this role across the Agency and also currently supports a NESC Assessment of Commercial Crew Program provider’s systems engineering functions.

Prior to this assignment, he spent a year at NASA headquarters in the Office for Space Flight, assisting in the post-Columbia return to flight activities.  His early career was spent in the Space Shuttle Program liquid propulsion systems where he served as the lead systems engineer for the Space Shuttle Main Propulsion System for Ground Operations at Kennedy Space Center.

Bob earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Old Dominion University and a Master of Science degree in Industrial Engineering from the University of Central Florida.
