These files capture our nation’s space history and Kennedy Space Center’s in stories that are summaries taken from the published accounts of the Spaceport News. We thank Malcolm Glenn who authored these summaries  Mr. Glenn is a graduate of the University of Virginia (BS Systems Engineering) and the University of Missouri-St.Louis (MBA). His career spans several aerospace contractors and NASA where he worked for 34 years and retired in 2022.  Here is his summary resume:

I graduated from the University of Virginia in May 1976 with a BS in Systems Engineering. I started working at McDonnell Douglas in St. Louis in June 1976, and worked there for a few years, as a Cost Estimator on the Tomahawk cruise missile program, and received an MBA from the University of Missouri-St. Louis. I hired in to the Space Center on July 13, 1981, with Rockwell International as a systems engineer in the Launch Accessories/ECS/PVD engineering group, under John Hagood and Larry Connell. I transitioned to Lockheed Space Operations Company in February 1984 and stayed with Lockheed, in engineering, until I hired on with NASA in the S&MA Directorate on August 15, 1988. I have been with S&MA ever since. I supported Shuttle Processing from an S&MA point of view, as Bob Lang requested I closely follow what was going on in the Engineering world of shuttle processing. I was also the KSC Lifting Devices and Equipment Manager, and did that for over 32 years. I retired in 2022.
